2003 Rolex Submariner 50th Anniversary 16610LV Flat 4 Kermit Full Set

  
In 2003, Rolex chose to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the submariner with a limited edition of the venerable 16610. They differentiated this from the standard model with a green bezel insert, and a maxi dial. Because of this green bezel insert, the watch is more commonly known among collectors as the Kermit. I find this to be a missed opportunity, as Yoda is also green and arguably way cooler. Lets collectively dog-ear that name for another green watch, ok? Aficionados posit that the 16610LV has up to eight different dial variations. All under a single limited edition. Production ceased in 2010, so thats over a dial per year! Dial: Flawless Mk III Maxi dial. Bezel Insert: Mk I flat 4 that has faded to an electric, key lime green.

Case: very lightly polished by Rolex in 2015. The watch has been worn since and displays moderate signs of use. Bracelet: 93250 with an AD6 date code and solid end links.

Movement: Calibre 3135 bidirectional self-winding via Perpetual rotor, parachrom hairspring, 48-hour power reserve, center hour, minute and seconds hands, instantaneous date, hacking seconds for precise time setting, COSC-certified chronometer.
