Super nice mint 2017 Puma 117073 Faun Knife With Stag Handles. The Puma model number is 11 7073. The knife was hand made at Puma Werks in Solingen, Germany. This is a chance to own a great piece of Puma cutlery history.
The blade is German stainless steel. The handle is stag with two brass rivets and a round gold PUMA shield. This knife measures 8 3/4" overall with a 4 1/2" blade. The rear of this knife blade is etched: PUMA faun 117073 - SOLINGEN HANDMADE 17/RC.
The knife includes the "Puma Proof Mark" on the blade: a small dot or ping on each blade was made with a diamond pointed needle, part of the Rockwell blade quality testing. The knife also comes with the Rockwell sticker. It has a 4 1/2 German. Steel blade and is 8 3/4 overall length. The blade has a full and clear etch.
The handles have lots of character and are well matched. The finger guard is made from German silver. The Puma knife comes in the Puma Box.
