Argentine Gaucho Knife - Brown Ebony and Stainless Steel Handle - Ideal for BBQ. This Criollo or Gaucho knife is manufactured with ebony.

Because of its high density does not float in water as lower density-woods do. For this reason, it is considered the hardest wood in the world. For the impenetrability, easy washing and brotherhood with steel, the ebony handle is highly sanitary. The blade is a SEIGEN blade.

The blade is 5 3/4" long, reaching a total length of the knife of 10" long. The sheath is made of 100% cow leather.

The main characteristics of gaucho puñales are the slim, elegant spear pointed blade, the presence of an integrally forged bolster or "button" (in Spanish, botón) which reinforces and divides the blade from its tang and file marks on the back of the blade. Due to its size, this knife is considered a "Verijero" knife. This beautiful piece is ideal for gift, collector's item or simply for eating a delicious "asado" (barbecue). After using your knife, clean and dry your knife (the entire knife, not just the blade).

Do not store knives in their sheaths. Avoid the Dishwasher at All Costs.
