This watch was officially known as the Tribute to Geophysic 1958 which was deemed a new chapter in Jaeger LeCoultres incredible and rich watchmaking history by offering new line of high precision automatic movements centrally focused on timekeeping and pays homage to one of Jaeger LeCoultres most famous scientifically designed exploration watch in the Geophysic from 1958. Compared with the original 1958 model, dial design and layout remain almost the same even down to the yellow-tinge lumed hands. It is bigger in diameter at 38.5mm and obvious features modern features such as water-resistance and a masterfully executed automatic movement with hack feature in the JLC calier 898/1.

This particular limited edition model was released late 2014 and only started to become available in 2015 where only 800pcs were made. Condition-wise this watch is running with excellent timekeeping and there is no imminent need for service as it operates well. However, I have not had it serviced thus I do not offer longterm timekeeping guarantee. Cosmetically the watch is pre-owned and appears to have been used in numerous occasions so there are some slight surface scratches.

The original JLC black alligator strap has wear as well, on the black surface there is also a bit of color staining but certainly not very noticeable.
